14 Months!

Today our little Benji turns 14 months old. We are so blessed to have a baby that sleeps from 8 at night until 7:30 in the morning!

He is the best little hide-and-seek player ever, He is good at finding hiding spots and being quiet, He loves going into his room and closing the door time after time. After about the third time mom and dad get tired of getting up and opening it again :).

He loves cheese and could spend the whole day eating it if we let him! He has quite the little character - if you take something away from him that he thinks is his, or if you tell him not to do something, he protests quickly and will let you know of his disapproval.
After the last blog (13 months) in which we were worried about him not walking yet, it only took three more days until he was walking all over the place! This little penguin walk is the cutest :).

He is the best climber in the Universe and quickly finds a way to climb onto, into, or over things, and then he finds away to get down. He is growing so fast. He uses size 4 diapers, 18-24 month clothes, and his shoe size is 4. He has 6 teeth - 2 bottom and 4 on top. He doesn't like to get his finger nails cut. He likes to have his hair combed, but it doesn't last long before his hair gets out of control.

He loves chit chatting and is the best alarm clock in the morning. He is a little troublemaker when he is just with mom and dad, but he behaves very well when other people are around :).
He loves laughing and playing, but what he loves the most is to sit on the couch snuggling with mommy and watching his cartoons. When he wants me to watch something with him he will find me where ever I am and grab my hand and pull me where ever he wants me to go. He is definitely a little Mamma's boy, but he loves his daddy a lot too and misses him so much when he is at school and is always so happy to see him and give him a big hug when he gets home at night. He is very independent and he likes to walk. He doesn't like to hold our hand when he walks and pulls his hand away so he can walk alone. He loves dogs - at least he likes to look at the neighbors dogs, because we don't have one.

He is an intelligent and healthy (knock on wood) little boy and we are so grateful and blessed to have him and to be his parents. Thank you for teaching us so much Benji!. We love you!

These pictures are so cute. He's so big! I love the picture of him in the bouncer, I remember when he used to fit in it just fine! I am glad he is walking now!
