13 months!

Today Benji is 13 months old! We are so lucky to have this crazy little guy in our family :)

Remember how I was worried about whether he would be able to stop using a bottle? Well, the truth, it wasn't a problem! He got used to his big boy cup quickly. And he has adapted to his new diet more than we could have imagined. He eats everything! He is a little vacuum cleaner. Every time he sees someone eating, he comes up and wants it to and he can do that all day and doesn't seem to be full :)

He has six teeth now and he tries to repeat what we say. And he always copies whatever daddy does, but in his own way. He loves to dance, but he still is a little bit afraid to walk more than a few steps by himself. Many people have told us that there first children walked around 15 months, and then the next ones walked sooner. I am not in a hurry to make him walk, he will do it in his own time :)

The curious thing about this picture is that we didn't realize it until after we looked at the picture later that Benji had gotten into the picture with daddy hahaha :)

We also can say that he really is a little tornado at home!. He takes out everything to play with and he gets inside cupboards, he climbs on everything, the puts plastic bowls on his head and hits metal bowls with a wooden spoon, he likes to yell and laugh loudly and he always likes to get everyone's attention. He also loves to go to his room and close his door so that mom and dad will go and look for him - he'll do it as many times as we will open it for him until he gets bored or distracted by something else.

He loves to watch TV, and his favorite channel is Sprout and he loves to watch "chica" in the morning with daddy, and later on he loves to watch "Olivia" with mom on Nick Jr. We are so fortunate to have this little guy with us and he makes the time go by very fast and we can't wait to keep learning more from him. :)
