Home stretch

This week has been kind of long and stressful for Daniel because he is on the home stretch towards the end of the semester and he has a lot of assignments and readings to do before finals. But we are grateful that it is the weekend now and he can be a little bit less stressed out and can spend more time with us. :)

While Dad is at school, Benji and I have enjoyed the nice weather that we have been getting here in Arizona. We have gone outside to walk around and look at rocks and explore and enjoy being outside since we hadn't been able to earlier because it was so hot!

But today it was fun to spend some time with some new friends, the McKee family. They moved into the ward a little bit after we did and we found out that they lived pretty close to us in Provo, but we didn't meet them until we got here to Phoenix.  Today they invited us to come over and play some games and get to know each other a little bit more. It was very fun! We played Scrabble and then we ate some milkshakes and the time went by pretty fast!

We are always grateful to have more friends to get together with.

Benji is getting to be so big and handsome! I'm glad you got to spend some time with new friends! We'll have to play Scrabble at christmas--Forrest and I love that one!

isn't the weather getting amazing?!?! Love it. Glad you're able to go outside more now. That's funny you guys lived by each other in Provo but didn't meet until now. Sounds like you have a great ward :)

I am so glad you are making so many nice friends, it definitely helps to have good friends when you are far from family! :)
