Benji has been pretty healthy for the most part, except that while we were in Mexico he got a bad virus with a fever and a cough which made him throw up a lot, so he lost some weight, but he is doing great now and eating well again.
He seems to have moved past his temper tantrum stage pretty quickly and we think he just needed a vacation like we did :) He has started to say a few more words, and he says "mama" a lot in the sweetest little voice. Every time he hears music or other sounds he lifts up his arms and starts to dance, or he just starts to move his legs. He is starting to understand more too. When we say "no", he doesn't obey, but if we say "that's enough" or "stop" he stops doing what he was doing.
The doctor said that his molars are going to start coming in soon because his gums are swollen. He loves to take baths and its always a battle trying to get him out of the bath without crying because he wants to stay in longer.
Today we cut his hair a little bit for the first time and he is so cute! Since he has grown so much, his 18 month old clothes are getting to be too short for him. He pays attention to everything that he sees and seems to be learning a lot.
He loves to pretend that he is talking on the phone. He grabs anything that looks even slightly like a phone and sticks it up to his ear and starts talking into it in his baby talk. He says mama in spanish and dadda in English.
After a month away from home he is starting to remember his old sleeping routine and is sleeping well again. Fortunately he loves milk like his mommy.
We are very grateful for everyone that helped us with him and were so loving with him and with us during our vacation!
